A part of VisAI has joined the Unreal Engine Marketplace Permanently Free collection! 🎉 🥳 🎉

  • What was VisAI – FPS is now VisAI – Community! 
  • VisAI – Community will stop receiving major updates after VisAI 1.4 has released (will maintain support with the newest engine versions)
  • Other VisAI packs will be moving towards a v2.0, which you can find more details about here & below.
  • All those who purchased VisAI – FPS will receive the new FPS pack when it’s released on VisAI 2.0!

Introduction

VisAI – Community has joined the Unreal Engine Permanently Free collection! This means that some major changes are coming 😊

VisAI 2.0

Since the beginning, VisAI has utilized what it could from Unreal Engine to make AI creation comprehensive & performant for developers of all experience levels. With a full release of Unreal Engine 5 around the corner, there are a lot of new and powerful features available. 

To bring VisAI into the next generation, we want to make some major changes. Including;

What will happen to Community?

Community will provide a great solution for developers who can’t or don’t want to purchase other VisAI packs. While other packs move to v2.0, Community will stay on v1.4 & all documentation for 1.4 will be uploaded to GitHub; tutorials will remain on YouTube. Epic will be ensuring it stays updated with all future Unreal Engine versions. 

What will happen to FPS?

FPS will be re-releasing when 2.0 has been completed. Those who purchased VisAI – FPS will be able to get access to the new FPS pack for free by completing a verification process. 

What about other VisAI packs? 

When v2.0 has been released, you’ll migrate your AI to the new version using a guide

All other VisAI packs (currently just Companion) will be receiving the 2.0 update like any other update. 2.0 will not be compatible with previous versions, though it will be possible to migrate your AI to the new version.
